Role: hardware design and installation, with software development and implementation supported by a specialist systems provider. Cost control including onsite management, installation and monitoring of day-to-day hardware and software development.
The overall design of electrical installation included, but wasn’t limited to:
- Radio pulse transmitters and repeaters
- Radio gateways and programming
- Modbus transmitters
- Modbus gateways and programming
- New electric, gas, water and heat meters
- Replacement electric, gas, water and heat meters
- Hardware firmware upgrading
- Existing hardware replacement
- Specialist software ongoing design with specialist provider
- Software programming
- Collection of meter data from software
- Presentation of graphical and spreadsheet reports for analysis
